GloPoWriMo – Day 14

Sparks of Inspiration

I read many poems and stories in my younger years

Some nearly brought me to tears

But only recently – a year or two ago,

I really became passionate about literature and poetry, though.

 

I started reading the works of poets like CathyTea,

Who I could only hope to be!

Poets like Ashubii

I am but a newbie!

 

I will continue to ride the wave of inspiration,

Until my ideas run dry and my patience wears thin

If I can make only one mouth smile,

Everything will be worth the while.
