Today’s weather: 19 degrees Celsius, mostly cloudy
The gardens are blooming during the lockdown period
All new building projects are on hold until the lockdown ends
Being locked away from the world has become a new custom
Many animals are probably glad to be spared from the hunter’s knife and the poacher’s rifle for a while
I still remember the night Grampa came down from Heaven to visit me in a dream
The last thing I found on the street was a penny, but that was a lifetime ago

People have likely never dressed this comfortably ever before in their lives
I remember having all my friends and family over for my 18th birthday – I haven’t seen most of them since
Notable persons include presidents around the world, with citizens eagerly awaiting announcements from them regarding the virus outbreak
Outside my window, I find my German Shepherd begging for attention and Father keeping himself busy with outdoor projects as usual
Today’s news headlines: “Support for lockdown plummets; Hitman fingers top cop; Outrage as food prices surge”

Unicorns may not exist, but I’ve ridden on a virtual one before…
If I walked three minutes down an alley, I’d likely find a couple of strangers looking at me with murder in their eyes
If you walked to the border now, you’d probably hear: “What are you doing here?! Lockdown isn’t over yet!”
What I fear most is losing a loved one, like a family member or one of my dogs
Pictures on my city’s postcards include lots of skycrapers lit up at night.
